"Photographing Art" workshop at Montclair Library on May 18.  Space is limited and registration is required. 


The library would like to extend an invitation to participate in this specialized, technical workshop about "Photographing Artwork" taught by Frank Robbins. Registration is required, and space is limited to 10 participants. The event will be held at Montclair Library, 5049 Waterway Dr, Dumfries, VA 22025 on Saturday, May 18, 10:30 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. and registration begins on Monday, April 1.   https://pwcgov.libnet.info/event/10226715.

The focus of this demonstration workshop will be making high-resolution photographic copies of flat artwork such as paintings and drawings. Participants must have experience operating an SLR or DSLR camera manually. Participants are not required to bring a camera, but may want to take notes and photos of the equipment and the step by step process using a DSLR Camera, tripod, easel, lights, light stands and a light meter.
