This workshop will provide a firm foundation for new watercolor artists by covering the basics of watercolor equipment, paints and techniques. After demonstrations and some practice exercises, participants will create a step-by-step painting. There will be ample opportunities for individual creativity and expression. Mark Murphy has many years experience creating and selling watercolor paintings and will provide valuable tips to beginners in this medium. This workshop will be held at the Montclair Library.
