I could just say that I'm usually inspired by nature. But that's barely true. I'm mostly inspired by the pain that comes from loss, the loss of what we have taken for granted, the loss of the birds and trees, the loss of wildlife, the loss of life as we used to know from childhood.
 
Although my main medium is watercolor, when I started working with ink I found the message of the grays both powerful and challenging.
 
My wish is for the viewer to relate to the strong emotions behind these images.
